Welcome to our Hello July series! We’re spotlighting the amazing partners behind our upcoming July event in the coming days. ICYMI, you can catch up on all the details about Hello July here.
There’s something special about the Palisades neighborhood—quiet yet connected, charming yet refined. The warm, local energy carries a subtle sophistication, making it the perfect fit for the Ver Studio, the brainchild of Veronica Rogers and Kristina Temple.
While it's a common saying that you shouldn't go into business with family, the sisters-turned-co-founders always knew they wanted to work together. “Not just because it sounded fun, but because we recognized how well our strengths and styles complemented each other”, shares Veronica. The two work hand in hand to run their 1,500sq ft. creative space, with Kristina leading operations and client experience, while Veronica brings her design expertise, transforming spaces beyond aesthetics. A true tandem to say the least.
VER means “truth” or “to see”, so the design-forward rental venue’s goal is for individuals and ideas to be seen. “The foundation of any meaningful experience begins with the space it exists in”, claims Veronica. In an age dominated by digital interaction, the value of gathering in tangible locations with like-minded communities has never felt more vital. We see this through the popularization of activities such as dinner parties, flea markets, and cookbook clubs. Whether it's through the lens of a camera, the warmth of a shared meal, or the productivity of a workshop, creativity thrives when it's grounded in real, physical connection—when it’s given the space and presence to truly unfold. So with that intent, VER Studio was born. With a seamless blend of modern simplicity and curated landscaping, the sisters wanted their place to offer just enough inspiration for their clients while also feeling like a blank slate customizable for anyone who had a vision of their own.
One of the main perks of being based in the Palisades is the close-knit and innovative community that surrounds it. This environment has given the two-storey space—with its picturesque courtyard—countless opportunities to serve as a venue for showrooms, photo shoots, films, galleries, and other extraordinary ventures. These were all made possible not just due to the space itself, but also thanks to the services provided by the sisters: art direction, styling, strategy, production, and photography.
When a client steps into the room, Veronica and Kristina hope more than anything that “the space evokes a sense of connection and creative possibility… Where people feel safe to create and share their work”. Over the past seven years of working together, the siblings have transformed their establishment into more of a collective of connoisseurs and creatives from all walks of life, coming together for meaningful experiences and impactful collaborations. But most especially, the two have learned to communicate honestly, set clear goals, and respect each other’s roles. “Building a business as sisters has genuinely been a joy. We support one another deeply, and we’re endlessly grateful to create something meaningful side by side”, claims Veronica. Because at the end of the day, it’s not just about offering a platform for expression, it’s about recognizing the greatness in others and actively nurturing their fullest potential. Because when people are seen, supported, and empowered, what they create has the power to inspire far beyond the walls of any studio. (Article by Francesa Jana Santiago)
